Summer ballet classes at URC

As the end of term looms this post is to clarify what ballet classes will be on offer at URC over the summer vacation period.

I will continue to teach up to and including Thursday 12th July; so last Friday classes on 6th July and last Saturday classes 7th July.  After Monday 9th and Thursday 12th I will not teach any further classes in July.

However I will teach the following classes during August:
Mondays 6th, 13th, 20th:  Intermediate/advanced general class 5.45-7.15pm.
Thursdays 9th, 16th, 23rd:  Intermediate/advanced class 10.00-11.30am.

Autumn classes resume on Thursday 6th September with first Saturday of term on 8th, and first Monday on 10th.  Oxford Academy of Dance Friday classes will recommence on Friday 14th September.  Full details will be posted nearer the time…

Dancin’ The Years Away – Pegasus Theatre 28th June ’12

In this Gala evening organised by respected Oxford dance artist and teacher Joëlle Pappas, Tac-au-Tac Young Dancers and their friends celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Pegasus Theatre…

As well as performances by talented young dancers from Tac-au-Tac and some of Oxford’s leading youth dance groups led by Joëlle, Cecilia MacFarlane and Ellie Crowther, including the dynamic Oxford Youth Dance Company, this performance includes an appearance by the new Oxford Youth Ballet led by Penny Cullerne-Bown of East Oxford School of Ballet.  They will be performing two brief extracts, Waltz and Chorale, from a work being made for them by Susie Crow.  Kammermusik is set to Paul Hindemith’s Kleine Kammermusik for five wind instruments.

Proceeds from the Gala will go towards supporting the rich programme of ongoing youth work at the Pegasus.
