Monthly Archives: April 2013

A reminder about the various class cancellations of this coming week at URC:
There will be no ballet classes on the following days:
Thursday 2nd May – hall in use as a polling station
Friday 3rd May – hall being prepared for URC Fair
Saturday 4th May – hall in use as part of URC Fair
So if you want to do class this week, the only one is today’s Intermediate class,  Monday 29th April 5.45-7.15pm.

The next classes will be on the following Monday 6th May – even though it is Bank Holiday Monday – when as well as the usual 5.45 Intermediate class I will also be starting the new Adult Beginners/Improvers class, 4.15-5.30pm.  This class is intended as a supplement or alternative to the Saturday Adult Beginners’ class and may provide an opportunity to further develop the material being studied in that class.  Both new beginners and those wishing to take a further class or change the day they come will be very welcome.
See you in class, if not this coming week, then the following…

Sorry to have to announce that because of her other commitments it has been decided to cancel the Monday morning contemporary classes that were to have been taught by Cécile Feza Bushidi at URC on April 8th, 15th and 29th.  I am hoping that Cecile may be free to teach a set of classes at a later date.  Watch this space for announcements of further classes for May and beyond; and if you are interested in attending Monday contemporary classes at URC please contact Susie for more information and to receive schedule updates.

Meanwhile for those wishing to take ballet classes during the Easter break, Penny Cullerne-Bown of East Oxford School of Ballet is offering two holiday classes at advanced level:
Tuesdays 2nd and 9th April 5.30-7.00pm at St Gregory the Great School, Cricket Road
For more information about these and to be informed about any further classes, contact Penny:
